Welcome to the website of the All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for Legal Constitutional Affairs. The APPG brings together MPs and Peers from all parties to meet together regularly in Parliament to discuss a number of current legal issues, with high profile speakers from the Government, Judiciary and beyond. The group is jointly supported by the two main legal professional bodies, the Law Society and the Bar Council.
The group has over 35 members from both the House of Commons and the House of Lords, representing the UK's main political parties, including lawyers, former judges and Law Officers along with those with a general interest in the subject area. The Chair is Lord Brennan, QC.
